Congratulations to Johnson Central High School’s Becca Wright. The Sr. Point Guard for Coach Jim Hicks and the Lady Eagles Basketball program, signed her L.O.I (Letter of Intent) to attend Cleveland State Community College located in Cleveland, Tennessee.

During her Sr. Season, Becca was named Eastern Ky Defensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Mountain Team, 15th Region All-Mountain Team, WSIP 57th District/15th Region Teams and 15th Region All Tournament Team. She averaged 6 points, 6 assist, 4 rebounds and 4 steals per game in 2024. Becca was considered by many Coaches, Media and Fans as the “Best Defensive Player” the 15th Region and/or Eastern Kentucky has Ever seen.

Becca Wright is the Daughter of Lewis “Junior” and Maria Wright.
