JCHS Boys/Girls Golf Teams Claim Ky 2A Sect 8 Titles

Congratulations to the Johnson Central Boys and Girls Golf Teams on Winning the Kentucky 2A Section 8 Championship on Tuesday at StoneCrest in Prestonsburg.

JCHS Boys:

Congratulations to Kaiden Powers on Winning the 2A Section 8 Individual Title with a score of 68 (-2).

JC’s Max Bingham shot a 71 – 2nd place overall
JC’s Cooper Blair shot a 72 – 3rd place overall

Carter Stephens 82

JCHS Girls:

Congratulations to JCHS Kortlyn Wheeler on Winning the 2A Section 8 Individual Girls Title with a 81

JC’s Kiley Hall shot a 92
JC’s Khloe Bush shot a 105
JC’s Lily Wilson shot a 142

This is the 3rd time in a Row that both the JCHS Boys & Girls Golf Team have won the 2A Section 8 Championship.

Both JCHS Teams will advance to the Kentucky 2A State Tournament in Owensboro on Sept. 14th
