KHSAA Region 4 Bass Fishing Tournament Results

Congratulations to the Johnson Central High School Bass Fishing Team. On Saturday, April 27th, 2024, the JCHS team competed in the KHSAA Region 4 High School Bass Fishing Tournament held at Herrington Lake in Harrodsburg, KY. As a team/school, Johnson Central finished in 1st Place to capture their 5th Team/Regional Title in 11 years of it being a KHSAA Sanctioned Sport and will be presented with this award at the State Tournament Opening Ceremonies.

The top 16 Teams/Boats of the KHSAA Region 4 Tournament qualifies for the 2024 KHSAA STATE HIGH SCHOOL BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT held at Kentucky Lake on May 10th and 11th.

JCHS Individual results were:

Malechi Blanton and Andrew Frazier – 3rd Place with 7 lbs. 7 ounces.
Jacob Grimm and Austin Slone – 6th Palce with 6 lbs. 9 ounces
Nathan Meadows and Brayden Reed – 10th Place with 5 lbs. 6 ounces
Nick Arrowood and Blake Blanton – 11th Place with 4 lbs. 14 ounces
Graydyne Fairchild and Kasdon O’Bryan – 15th Place with 4 lbs. 10 ounces
Dylan Peck and Dalton Click – 34th Place with 2 lbs. and 2 ounces

JCHS Malechi Blanton was Awarded BIG BASS AWARD of the Tournament by catching a 4 lb 4 ounce Largemouth
