A Martin County man was arrested Saturday night on drug charges.
The Mountain Citizen reported that 48-year-old Frankie L. Maynard was a passenger in a car that was involved in a traffic stop.
The driver gave consent to search the vehicle and both men gave permission for a body searches.
Police found a bag of what appeared to be meth in a plastic bag stuffed in Maynard’s shoe and another bag in his sock with eight syringes and straws in his pocket.
