Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman is proposing a settlement with Kentucky Power that would deliver financial relief to families and businesses in the winter months.
Coleman proposes that Kentucky Power’s residential customers receive a total credit of $51.19, spread among their monthly bills through the winters of 2025 and 2026.
Coleman said the credit would help the 20 counties in eastern Kentucky who pay the highest utility rates in the commonwealth.
The settlement agreement must be accepted by the Public Service Commission.
