Motorists Urged to Use Caution as Area Returns to Normal Flow
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 (KYTC D12) announces that KY 1107 is now open to regular traffic as of Thursday evening, June 12, following an extended closure caused by damage from spring flooding.
The road had been closed since April while crews worked to clear debris, remove loose rock, and address safety hazards. With repairs complete and the roadway stabilized, KYTC crews have reopened the route and continue to monitor the area for any changes or emerging concerns.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution as traffic resumes and drivers adjust to normal travel patterns along this stretch of highway.
KYTC District 12 thanks the public for their patience and cooperation throughout the emergency response and recovery process.
