The Milwaukee Brewers completed a three-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds with a 6-5 victory Wednesday night. William Contreras and Jake Bauers sparked the offense with back-to-back home runs in the third inning.
The Reds mounted a late comeback behind RBI hits from Eugenio Suárez and Blake Dunn, while Spencer Steer’s two-run homer in the eighth pulled Cincinnati within a run. In the ninth, the Reds loaded the bases with one out, but Brewers reliever Joel Kuhnel induced a game-ending double play to secure his third save of the season.
The loss dropped Cincinnati to 37-42 and marked the Reds’ first home series sweep since August of 2024.
