Paintsville/Johnson County Emergency Management has placed all volunteer fire departments on standby for assistance for any localized power interruptions or other heat-related issues.

Cooling centers are also open at the Lawrence County Community Center and Blaine Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
