Congratulations to the Johnson Central Boys Bowling Team on Qualifying for the KHSAA Boys State Bowling Tournament. Head Coach Todd Conley said his Golden Eagles qualified 8th out of 19 teams and “ran there way through the gauntlet”! JCHS faced George Rogers Clark in the 1st round. Then beat the #1 seed Madison Central, that averaged 221 per bowler in qualifying. Then met the always tough Montgomery County team that was coming off winning the toughest tournament in the state last week. The match went 5 games and the Eagles shot a 237 to advance. They would come up a little short against West Jessamine in the championship, but still advance to State in two weeks.
