Christopher Dorton, of Johnson County, is facing several charges after he allegedly attacked a Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy on Sunday night.
The deputy was called to the Hager Hill Post Office after a report that Dorton was creating a disturbance.
When the officer tried to arrest him, he allegedly pulled a knife and attempted to stab the deputy.
Dorton was subdued with a taser and pepper spray before he was taken into custody.
