Kentuckians Reminded of National Preparedness Month

Kentuckians are reminded to have emergency plans in place during National Preparedness Month.

FEMA’s decades-long awareness initiative encourages citizens nationwide to create emergency plans before it’s too late.

This includes taking small steps such as keeping go-bags filled with critical supplies in your home or vehicle.

Establishing meeting points or evacuation routes in the event of a disaster is also encouraged for family emergency plans.
