Kentucky State Police arrested three individuals on June 20, 2024 after illegal drugs were discovered during a traffic stop.
Post 9’s Criminal Interdiction Unit attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the Prestonsburg community of Floyd County. The vehicle fled and was later located at a residence in Pike County. During the investigation, approximately 1 kilogram of suspected methamphetamine, 1.8 ounces of suspected fentanyl, and U.S. currency were seized.
Ahmad Moore, 25, of Ohio, was arrested and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on charges of Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Possession of Marijuana, Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Trafficking Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), Tampering with Physical Evidence, and other traffic related violations.
Dean Blair, 23, of Georgia, was arrested and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on charges of Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Possession of Marijuana, Resisting Arrest, Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Trafficking Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Nevah Twitty, 20 years old, was arrested and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on charges of Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Possession of Marijuana, Resisting Arrest, Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Trafficking Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
