A lawsuit has been filed against the Cove, a recreation facility operated by Lawrence County at Yatesville Lake.
The lawsuit filed by Sasha Dotson alleges that the slide area was not properly supervised on June 6th, 2023, which led to Dotson’s son, Rox, suffering serious head injuries when he was struck in the head by a woman coming down an inflatable slide.
The lawsuit says the six-year-old has permanent disfigurement, mental health problems, pain and anguish, and medical expenses.
