Les Trimble Resigns from Lady Tigers Basketball

In a Facebook Post from Sunday, Paintsville Girls Basketball Coach Les Trimble resigned from his position as Head Coach of the “Lady” Tigers Basketball Program. Coach Trimble has had a decorated career at Paintsville that includes a 2017 15th Region title and two “All-A” 15th Region Championships in 2017 & 2019.
“After a brief conversation Saturday morning with Paintsville Athletic Director Jason Kinner it became very obvious to myself and my family that new leadership is needed for the Paintsville Lady Tiger Basketball program…I will be resigning my position as head coach effective immediately. I have so many amazing memories at Paintsville HS.. My four children graduated from PHS and loved the experience. . 2017 15th Regional Championship and 2017 and 2019 All A 15th Region Champions. So many talented players that I was fortunate to coach! Thanks to all my assistants along this journey. You have been like family! We have another talented team this season and I can assure you that the support staff we have in place will lead them to a successful season.. Thanks for all the support thru the years Tiger Fans!
