Almost one year to the day of the February 2025 flood, Johnson County officials report that repairs to public property are nearly finished.
Johnson County Judge-Executive Mark McKenzie said Friday that the total impact on county-owned assets reached 975-thousand dollars.
104 locations in the county were impacted by the flood, and more than 100 individual property surveys were conducted afterwards.
As of now, McKenzie said the county is not aware of any residents who remain displaced from the February flood last year.
