Pike County Man Facing Arson Charges

A Phelps man is in jail for arson after allegedly setting a home on fire and documenting it in pictures.

Forty-one-year-old Bruce Hurley, of Phelps, is facing charges of arson and fleeing police. 

The arson charge stems from a fire at the mobile home owned by his wife and in-laws.

The arrest warrant said that he sent pictures of himself setting the trailer on fire to his wife.

Police attempted to arrest him on Saturday, but he allegedly fled.
