Pikeville Police have arrested 45-year-old Clinton Cook charging him with strangling a woman.
Police reported that the victim had called a friend during the alleged attack.
The friend said she was being choked then the phone went dead.
Police found the victim at a friend’s house and saw evidence of the attack.
Police went to Cook’s home but got no response despite seeing lights and hearing noises.
Police then made their way into the home where they found Cook and arrested him.
