The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed the bridge on Old Lick Creek Road in Magoffin county at mile point 1.1 after an inspection revealed significant deterioration of the bridge beams.
Signs and barricades will be posted to notify drivers of the bridge’s closure.
There is no timetable for when the bridge will be re-open.
