In Floyd County, two men have been charged in federal court on drug charges and leading police on a high-speed chase where speeds reached 120 mph.
Ahmad Moore, of Akron, Ohio, and Dean Blair, 23, of Snellville, Georgia, are accused of the June car chase where state troopers allegedly saw them throw a package which contained meth and fentanyl.
The two suspects are alleged to have turned off the lights and were driving into oncoming traffic before troopers called off the chase.
The car was found half an hour later in Pike County, and the two, along with Nevaeh Twitty, were arrested.
