A traffic stop for a burned-out headlight has landed two Pike County residents in jail.
A state trooper stopped a vehicle driven by Christen Brown that had a burned-out headlight.
While he was talking to Brown, the trooper became suspicious that he was under the influence.
After a field sobriety test, Brown was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
A search of the car then turned up what police said was a large amount of drugs.
Both Brown and his passenger, Dericka Knott, were charged with drug trafficking, as well as other charges.
