2024 Univ. of Kentucky Football Schedule Released
The SEC released the Univ. of Kentucky Football Schedule for the 2024 season. The CATS will have 8 home games next season and a matchup with first-time league foe Texas on the road. The Wildcats will begin the season with four straight home games at Kroger Field, which includes two SEC foes in South Carolina and Georgia. The schedule, which is a combination of four nonconference games and eight conference games, features home appointments against Southern Miss, South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Murray State and Louisville. The road trips include stops at Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee and Texas. The SEC has eliminated the divisional standings beginning in 2024 and will place the top two teams in the standings into the SEC Championship Game. Under the new division-less format, each school will play every other school a minimum of two times in a four-year period.

Former Ohio State Buckeye Commits to the CATS
Former Ohio State running back DeaMonte “Chip” Trayanum has committed to Kentucky, the player announced on Tuesday. Trayanum (5-11, 230) has one season of eligibility remaining. The Akron, OH native was the second-leading rusher at Ohio State last season, running for 373 yards and three touchdowns, including a game-winning touchdown at Notre Dame. Trayanum began his career at Arizona State, before transferring to OSU, where he started his time there as a linebacker, before switching back to running back. Trayanum joins several high profile players to commit to the Wildcats since the transfer portal opened — Georgia quarterback Brock Vandagriff and Texas A&M wide receiver Raymond Cottrell both committed to the Cats in recent days.
