A Floyd County deputy on patrol spotted a car with expired tags in Martin.
A passenger in the car, Justin Kyle Bryant, was asked to get out of the car when it is alleged that he dropped a bag of drugs in front of a police officer.
The drugs were found to be meth and fentanyl.
Officers also found a gun during a body search.
