A high-speed chase in Boyd County has resulted in one arrest.
A Kentucky state police report said Benjamin Layne refused a traffic stop leading troopers on a high-speed pursuit through heavy traffic while tossing bags of illegal drugs out of the vehicle.
State police said they were able to recover the narcotics thrown from the vehicle.
Layne has been taken to the Boyd County Detention Center to await court proceedings.
