A Floyd County man has been arrested for assault in an alleged attack on his mother.
Deputies and EMT’s who responded found the woman with what were reported as serious injuries, and a possible broken jaw.
WYMT reports the suspect, Justin Ryan Lewis, had left as deputies arrived, but he was stopped nearby and allegedly showed signs of impairment.
He is so far charged with assault, terroristic threatening and DUI.
