The number of first time filings for unemployment are decreasing across Kentucky.
That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending May 16th, there were more than 25-hundred first time filings in the state, which is less filings than the week prior.
Nationally, the number of initial filings decreased compared to the week prior.
