A Paintsville man is facing multiple drug trafficking and traffic-related charges following a traffic stop in Lawrence County, that led to a search of his home.
Louisa Police arrested James Hicks after officers reportedly found methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, cash and evidence of suspected drug sales during the stop.
Investigators later executed a search warrant at Hicks’ Paintsville residence, where they say additional drugs and trafficking-related evidence were recovered.
Hicks is expected to face additional charges in Johnson County as the investigation continues.
