For the second time this week, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a juvenile for making a threat aimed at students at Betsy Layne Elementary School.
In a news release on Tuesday, the Floyd County School District and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department said the latest incident was a juvenile student, who was not on campus at the time, made a threat and is being charged with terroristic threatening, second degree.
The news release reported that no firearms were discovered, and the investigation is still on going.
