A plan for flood mitigation will be a major point of discussion with the City of Prestonsburg holding a public meeting Thursday.
The project affects the residents of the Mays Branch Road area and was originally pitched and funded in 2016.
Now, the plans have been modified to address some of the most problematic and flood-prone areas of the creeks and ditches in the area.
The meeting will be Thursday at the Mountain Arts Center.
