Big Sandy Community and Technical College hosted the 2024 Eastern Kentucky Recovery Conference on Tuesday at the Mountain Arts Center.
It was a day learning to foster a more informed approach to addiction treatment and mental health support.
Rachelle Burchett with the college said “you can see today there is so much commitment here, so many resources from specific medication to recovery centers. It’s everywhere; it’s evident. You just have to reach out.”
Hundreds of professionals, advocates and individuals along with dozens of vendors on hand in an effort to provide help for those who are (or know someone) struggling with addiction.
