Floyd County Cracking Down on Illegal Dumping

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSIP) – Floyd County officials are reminding residents that illegal dumping remains a problem and say enforcement efforts are continuing.

A recent illegal dump site was discovered along Allen Banner Road, and officials say cameras are actively monitoring known dumping locations.

Anyone caught illegally disposing of trash could face prosecution.

County residents can dispose of household waste free once each month on a Monday or Friday at the Rumpke/Floyd County Transfer Station in Martin.
