HAZARD, Ky. (WSIP) – State and federal funding has been secured to begin design studies for a four-lane expansion of the Hal Rogers Parkway between London and Hazard.
The project would widen nearly 60 miles of the highway, which currently includes both two and four-lane sections.
The design phase is expected to cost more than $50 million. No construction timetable has been announced.
