It’s National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is holding its National Collection Week through November 25^th. 

The First Baptist Church, in Inez, will participate in the nationwide program. 

This week, you can pack shoeboxes with gifts for children in need worldwide and drop them off at the First Baptist Church in Inez. 

Last year, two high school groups and 14 churches in Martin County came together to create over 800 shoeboxes.  

The Southside Freewill Baptist Church in Paintsville is also accepting Operation Christmas Child donations through November 25th.

The items should be for a boy or a girl and you should label each box for ages 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14 years old.  A suggested $10 donation helps cover shipping costs.
