JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WSIP) – A Johnson County man has been arrested on charges involving alleged online contact with a teenage girl.
35-year-old Donald Wayne Meek of Thelma is accused of using a chat app between July 16 and July 18 to encourage a girl he allegedly knew was underage to drink alcohol, send him pictures and go for a ride.
Investigators say the case began after the girl’s mother contacted the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Meek was arrested on a charge of attempted third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and other charges.
