Johnson County Judge-Executive Mark McKenzie has issued a proclamation designating September 16-20 as Adult Literacy Week in Johnson County, acknowledging the vital role of adult education programs in our community.
Tammy Castle, Director of Adult Education at Big Sandy Community & Technical College was in attendance for Monday’s proclamation signing.
Judge McKenzie and the fiscal court said in a release that they appreciate the important work performed by adult educators to improve the lives of Johnson Countians.
