Kentucky Christian University Celebrates Debt Elimination and Launches $7 Million Capital Campaign

A milestone for Kentucky Christian University in Grayson…the school says it has eliminated all its debt and has launched a new capital campaign.

KCU president Dr. Terry Allcorn says being debt-free is a new chapter for the University and that the capital campaign will ensure a bright future.

The “For the Good of the Cause” capital campaign seeks to raise $7 million, with over $5 million already received in gifts and commitments.

KCU’s already reached one of its goals by paying off the debt and will now aim to expand programs and enhance the student experience.

Among the plans are the expansion of the Keeran School of Bible and Ministry and upgrading student housing and shared spaces on campus.

Dr. Allcorn says the fund will ensure KCU fulfills its mission to serve churches and communities for years to come.
