KY 1210 Bridge in David to Close for Repairs August 18–31

Motorists in Floyd County should be aware of an upcoming bridge closure in David. 

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the bridge on KY 1210, near the KY 404 junction, will close Tuesday, August 18, around 9 a.m. for deck repairs. 

Crews will repair a hole in the concrete bridge deck that is currently covered by a steel plate. The bridge will have to be completely closed while the work is underway. 

The closure is expected to remain in place through August 31.

Drivers should use an alternate route, follow temporary signs and message boards, and allow extra travel time. 

The schedule is subject to change because of weather or unforeseen conditions.
