Pike County Man Charged with 14 Felony Animal Cruelty Counts

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WXKQ) – A Pike County man has been charged with multiple felony animal cruelty offenses after Kentucky State Police investigated an animal welfare complaint near South Williamson.

Troopers say they found several dead cats, three dogs roaming the property and another dog inside the home that was severely malnourished.

33-year-old Joseph E. Newcomb of Hardy was arrested on 14 counts of torture of a dog or cat and later released on bond.
