Governor Andy Beshear has announced funding for 32 projects across the state parks and recreation area.
There are several awards granted to Eastern Kentucky.
Knott County will receive $130,000 for repairs at parks that were damaged during the July 2022 flood.
In Paintsville, officials plan to use $245,000 to demolish the existing public pool and build a splash pad at the site.
Prestonsburg will receive $37,000 to resurface, restripe, and install new nets at the existing tennis courts at Archer Park with one court being converted into a pickleball court.
