A young child is dead following an accident involving fireworks in Pulaski County.
The incident happened Saturday night at a home on Jacksboro Street in Somerset, when a tube of fireworks fell over and struck the child in their torso.
The child, identified as four-year-old Rhett Luttrell, died from his injuries.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office describes the incident as a “freak accident.”
