WoodSongs bringing FREE Music Instruments to Appalachia

After gifting over 1800 music instruments to the musicians who lost everything in the storms of Helene (see WoodSongs.com/Helene) folksinger Michael Johnathon and his WoodSongs broadcast is turning attention to our home state and musicians in the Appalachian corridor of Kentucky.

WoodSongs volunteers will be bringing several hundred guitars, banjos, hammer dulcimers and band instruments collected from across America to the Appalachian Center for the Arts (The APP) 218 Second St. Pikeville, KY on Sunday April 13. Gifting of instruments will begin at 2PM. There are no requirements to receive a instrument. Details are posted at WoodSongs.com/Kentucky2025
