A Hazard man is facing charges for allegedly giving alcohol to a kid who then had to go to a hospital.
Kentucky State Police say Michael Smith is charged with wanton endangerment and unlawful transaction with a minor for the incident that happened a few months ago.
Court documents show the child’s mother found them passed out and took them to the emergency room.
She then allegedly found social media messages between Smith, who is 25, and the kid about buying the booze.
