Students were placed on lockdown Thursday after school officials at Knott County Central High School say they received a call using voice-over technology containing threats of violence.
After a brief investigation by authorities, students returned to regular schedule.
According to reports, multiple schools around the state received similar threatening calls on Thursday with no acts of violence.
