PAINTSVILLE, KY (WSIP) – Johnson County is receiving $2.6 million in state funding to expand the Hager Hill Athletic Complex.
County officials say the money will support major additions to the site.
In addition to soccer fields, the project is set to include six lighted tennis courts, two lighted pickleball courts and new amenities such as a playground, walking trail, picnic shelters and a combined restroom and concession facility.
The funding was approved as part of the state budget and will build on ongoing construction at the complex.
