A group of students from Paintsville Independent Schools toured the Tek Center facilities in Inez on Wednesday.
The Tek Center is the state’s newest trade college offering hands-on training in heavy equipment, electrical, plumbing and mechanical.
The students viewed a demonstration on electrical by the school’s Ernie Reynolds.
Tim Fannin showed the students materials used in plumbing.
The students also had an opportunity to use VR headsets that Tek Center students use for electrical and industrial maintenance mechanics courses.
The Tek Center is located at 104 East Main Street in Inez.
A group of students from Johnson Central High School will also be touring the facility in the coming weeks.
