The Paintsville Police Department has added a new patrol officer. Chase Owens has joined the department after serving three years as a Public Safety Officer at the University of Pikeville. Owens is a graduate of UPIKE, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and was also a football student-athlete.
