Addictive Recovery Center names new CEO

ASHLAND, Ky. (WSIP) – Addictive Recovery Center has named Randy Hunter as its new CEO. Hunter also serves as CEO of Prestonsburg-based Frontier Behavioral Health and will continue in that role. ARC founder and former CEO Tim Robinson Jr. was federally indicted in June for wire fraud and money laundering related to a $4.7 million tax credit scheme. He will stand trial on those charges next February.

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WSIP) – A former Pike County substitute teacher has been sentenced to two years in prison in connection with a case involving a teenage student. Twenty-eight-year-old Hunter Plymale was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to third-degree rape. Hagerhill man arrested after evading police during traffic stop

HAGERHILL, Ky. (WSIP) – A Hagerhill man was taken into custody after he attempted to run from Paintsville Police during a traffic stop. 61-year-old James Music was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for speeding on U.S. 23. Music resisted arrest and was later subdued by a taser. Police recovered suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Music is facing numerous charges and is currently being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
