Man Pleads Guilty to BUI Following Fatal Grayson Lake Incident

CARTER COUNTY, Ky. (WSIP) – A Boyd County man charged with boating under the influence after a fatal incident at Grayson Lake has pleaded guilty. 23-year-old Cameron Conley admitted to operating a boat while intoxicated after 19-year-old Marly Kinney was reported missing on June 24. Kentucky Ranks Fifth Lowest in U.S. for Kindergarten Vaccination Rates

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WSIP) – Kentucky ranks among the states with the lowest kindergarten vaccination rates in the nation, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Floyd, Magoffin Counties Awarded $1.8 Million for Industrial Development

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WSIP) – Floyd and Magoffin counties will receive nearly $1.8 million in state funding to support future industrial development projects. Governor Andy Beshear announced Floyd County will receive $1.3 million to help acquire the 40-acre Allen Rail Site near Allen, while Magoffin County will receive more than $513,000 to expand Gifford Industrial Park outside Salyersville. The funding comes through the Kentucky Product Development Initiative, which helps communities prepare industrial sites to attract new business investment and create jobs.

New Kentucky Law Requires More Drivers to Stop for School Buses
